Transfer train and bus terminal for Dvur Kralove nad Labem
The starting point is the concept of the terminal as a LIVING public space. The inverse principle of mass and exterior is used here. The public place is surrounded by a building distributed around the perimeter.
The mission of the terminal is to secure movement. This differs from other buildings that provide indoor activities.
The urbanization situation of the southern part of the city, where the property is located, predetermines the area itself to become a center not only transport but also social. The goal is not only to create public space, but to create a living space, a meeting center. This includes the features included in the building, which, besides traveling, serve the inhabitants of the Court and become a multifunctional object.
